Happy birthday, Francesco Moriero!

MILAN - Today Francesco Moriero turns 54. When one thinks of the former outfielder, two footballing milestones come immediately to mind that continue his bond with all Nerazzurri fans. The first is undoubtedly that splendid bicycle-kick goal against Neuchatel Xamax. The second is the iconic 'sciuscià' gesture with which he paid homage to his teammates after scoring. At Inter since 1997, Moriero wore the Nerazzurri jersey for three seasons, collecting 83 appearances and scoring 10 goals. On the pitch, he always showed grit, flair and unpredictability. His contributions were decisive in the Uefa Cup he won in 1997/98.
