Frattesi: "I'm happy here and dedicate my goal to my grandmother"

He left his mark, as he often does. A fantastic assist from Thuram, and there he was to put the ball in the net. Davide Frattesi made a decisive contribution in what was a memorable match for him. After his early opener, he had another goal ruled out before winning the penalty that Taremi converted to make it 4-0.
It was a brilliant display from the midfielder, who has scored four goals this campaign, all of which he's bagged away from home in Serie A (in Udine, Empoli and Lecce). After being named the match MVP, this is what he had to say about Inter's victory:
“Scoring is always great, but goals only matter when you win. I’m particularly happy with the victory, a very important one. The last month has been a bit challenging for me: my mind has been elsewhere because my grandmother isn’t doing very well, so I’ve been worried. Of course, I’d like to dedicate my goal to her. I’m really happy to be here at Inter: I’m part of a family, which includes the whole group and all the staff members. I try to repay everyone as best I can. I hope the future brings us the same emotions we experienced last season. We have a lot of fixtures ahead, but we have great enthusiasm and a strong desire to work together as a team. That way, we don’t feel the fatigue as much.”
