— May 23rd 2023The game will take place at 21:00 CEST on Wednesday 24 May at the Olimpico in Rome
Inter and Fiorentina will contest the 2022/23 Coppa Italia final. After the Nerazzurri eliminated Juventus in their semi-final (1-1 and 1-0 over the two legs), the Viola qualified at the expense of Cremonese (0-2, 0-0).
As is tradition, the single-legged match will be played at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, this year on Wednesday 24 May at 21:00 CEST. Inter have knocked out Parma, Atalanta and Juventus to reach this year's final.
Fun fact: this is the very first time Inter and Fiorentina have faced each other in the final of the Coppa Italia. The two sides have met 13 times in the competition, with Inter winning five, drawing three and losing five.
Having reached the Coppa Italia final, both Inter and Fiorentina will qualify for the 2023 Supercoppa, which, for the first time in its history, will see four teams competing: the top two teams in Serie A and the two Coppa Italia finalists.
