After the victory in Plzen, Inter now face their third Group C game against Barcellona. Ahead of tomorrow's fixture at San Siro, kick-off at 21:00 CEST, Matteo Darmian spoke to journalists in the pre-match press conference:
"We know that tomorrow's game is an important, and difficult, one for us. We'll have to show determination and concentration. They are an extremely strong side, but we need to show that we're just as strong as them. We are Inter and we must try and do everything in our powers to win the game. It's a difficult moment for us, but as players we must take the responsibility and be ready to give more."
"I think from our side, we're not presuming anything. I know all my teammates well. Despite the difficult period we're experiencing, we all want to turn the situation around because we're a tight-knit group. From our side, we want to put things right. We need to stay calm and be switched on for the full 90 minutes."
"Tomorrow's game is a great opportunity for us. We know that they have some outstanding players that can decide games in an instant, so we'll need to be good at taking advantage of the chances we have."
"We know that Lukaku is important for the team but his absence cannot be used as an excuse. In this period, we should be able to cover his absence because we also have other great forwards in our ranks."
