Bisseck's header gives Inter 1 - 0 win at Bologna
Team
— Mar 9th 2024The Nerazzurri's winning run continues: Inzaghi's side move to 75 points ahead of the second leg away to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League
Yann Bisseck’s goal in the 37th minute was enough to give Inter the victory at Bologna. It was tough and precious 1-0 win in a game that presented the visitors with many challenges but, as always, was expertly seen out by Inzaghi's side. Lethal in the first half, attentive in defence in the second, showing great solidity and togetherness in holding off Bologna's second-half onslaught.
The goal came in the first half thanks to a wonderful cross from Bastoni and a devastating run and diving header from Yann Bisseck, his second goal of the season.
Saves by Sommer and a real desire to earn the three points gave Inter the maximum spoils, in a match that saw Carlos Augusto (at the end of the first half) and Marko Arnautovic, who left the field at the end, coming off for muscular problems, with Inter ending the game with ten men.
