“As we’ve been saying for a long time, we benefitted a lot from the final in Istanbul in terms of awareness, strength and unity. We understand how brilliant it is to play certain matches, and we also learnt how to get there. We’re happy and like being together, and we fight for certain objectives every single day. We’ve been on this journey for several years, and we’re growing and maturing. We need to carry on moving forward and keep it up, taking it game by game. My hug with the Coach? The strength of the group is very important. We were all called into question when we suffered too many defeats last season, but now we are making up for that. We’ve always been united, including during the difficult moments, and these are the results that have emerged. Inzaghi has been so important in terms of our tactical evolution. The qualities we possess allow us to do what you’re seeing at a tactical level, but it’s important for all of us to stay focused. It’s a team effort, and we’re happy. ”

“We got off to a slow start in the first ten minutes, but we were incredible for the rest of the game. We put in a big shift and showed real quality, creating a lot of chances. I’m delighted with this group. Leaving personal objectives aside, the important thing is for the team to win. I hadn’t scored in a while, and I’m happy to have done so in a win. We’ve also reached this point thanks to what we did last season. This campaign, we started where we left off, building on that final that gave us so much awareness and made us understand that we’re a great team and can compete with anyone. ”

“We expected a complicated game, and the first few minutes confirmed that this would be the case. Then, we found our rhythm and ended up producing a great performance. We knew how important the game was and showed this by displaying the right amount of focus and the right attitude.
