The 2023 Women's World Cup, which is being staged in Australia and New Zealand, is kicking off on 20 July. Five Nerazzurre players will be involved in the tournament: Durante and Merlo for Italy, Van der Gragt for the Netherlands, Sønstevold for Norway and Thøgersen for Denmark. Merlo has travelled as a reserve player.
The group stage will end on 3 August, with the round of 16 then beginning two days later. The World Cup will finish with the final in Sydney on 20 August.
