Happy birthday, Walter!

He was undoubtedly a player who perfectly embodied Nerazzurri DNA. Today, Walter Zenga is celebrating his 63rd birthday. Outstanding technical qualities, charisma and passion for the Inter shirt allowed him to become one of the Nerazzurri fans’ most loved figures. He progressed through the Inter youth ranks for a few seasons before eventually becoming part of the first-team setup. He defended the Nerazzurri goal from 1982 to 1994, winning the “Record-breaking Scudetto”, the Supercoppa Italiana and two UEFA Cups. For three consecutive years - from 1989 to 1991 - he won the world goalkeeper of the year award. Meanwhile, in 2018, he became the first shot-stopper to enter the Inter Hall of Fame, further highlighting his special relationship with the Nerazzurri faithful.
