Happy Birthday, Matteo!

Born in Legnano on 2 December 1989, Matteo Darmian celebrates turning 33 today! His dream of becoming a footballer has turned into reality thanks to his distinguished grit and determination. Matteo started playing out on the pitches at his local parish, before then moving to play for the junior side in Rescaldina, a small town in the province of Milan. After having progressed through the youth system to play for the First Team at AC Milan, he then went on to appear for Padova, Palermo, Torino, Manchester United and Parma, before moving to Inter in 2020. In the 2020/21 Scudetto-winning season, he contributed with two crucial goals against Cagliari and Verona, and in his time here has also won an Italian Supercup and a Coppa Italia. So far this season, he has collected 15 appearances in the League and Champions League in total.
