There’s a reason Inter is called Internazionale, as the club attracts fans from all over the globe! Burim Brao travelled half way across the world to watch the Nerazzurri play against Empoli. Brao is part of Inter Club Melbourne, one of the furthest away geographically from San Siro.
He made the journey of over 16,000km to Milan so that he could enjoy front row seats for Inter v Empoli, a sign of real passion and affection for the club he holds so dearly. He explained to Inter TV how it is a dream come true for him.
“It’s my first visit to San Siro and I can certainly say that it’s been a lifelong dream of mine. I’ve been a member of Inter Club Melbourne for six years, from when it was launched. It’s an honour to be here.
“My favourite player is still Alvaro Recoba. I fell in love with Inter during the Fenomeno years, but Recoba holds top spot for me.
“I had the honour of meeting Trent Sainsbury. It was amazing for Australians to have someone playing for Inter. It gave great visibility to our game.”
