The Dutch winger looks back on a brilliant win

MILAN - Denzel Dumfries put in a fantastic performance against Roma on Saturday, with endless running, commitment and a real striker’s goal. He spoke to DAZN and Inter TV about the team’s display. “It wasn’t an easy game. Roma are in great form at the moment. However, we knew how important it was to get the win today and we kept focused, doing really well in defence too.”

The Dutchman has improved a lot this season and today saw him grab his fifth league goal of the season: “I now feel at home here. I love the team and the fans. I feel really good. I’ve been able to integrate into the side thanks above all to my team-mates who have helped me so much since I arrived. I scored my first goal in the reverse fixture, so I’m happy to have got another today, but the most important thing is securing the win.”

Inter’s 3-1 victory against Roma is their fourth in a row in the league. “We are taking one game at a time and always focusing on the next one. We are a team with experience and we know that we need to take each games as it comes.”
