Skriniar: "We mustn't let up for a moment"

LA SPEZIA – Milan Skriniar hailed Inter's rediscovered solidity after putting in another sterling showing at the heart of the Nerazzurri defence against Spezia. 

Inter were comfortably in control for long spells and the hosts' only goal came courtesy of an unstoppable long-range effort by Giulio Maggiore.

“Beating Juventus away was a massive morale boost and has given us extra motivation to play every match with this intense desire to win,” the defender explained after Friday's 3-1 victory.

"We made it hard for ourselves towards the end today when the game was already dead and buried but we're on the right path. We have to keep playing like this, never letting up.

"There are lots of games still to play. We're over that run of games when we weren't ourselves. Maybe we got our approach wrong in that spell but we've picked ourselves up now.

“I feel good and I'm happy when I'm playing well and doing my bit for the team.”
