MILAN – Two wins and two days of pure celebration for members of Inter Club. Following Inter’s clash earlier in the season with Udinese which was dedicated to Inter Club, last Saturday’s fixture against Hellas Verona was also a tribute to the wider Nerazzurri family.
There were so many activities in store for those members lucky enough to attend. They got to see the Inter HQ from behind the scenes, received awards on the San Siro pitch, and took in goals by Nicolo Barella and Edin Dzeko which saw their team come away with all three points.
This exclusive event for Inter Club members began in the morning of 9 April. Invitees were able to get pictures from pitchside at the Meazza, sign their names on a memory wall, enjoy promotional offers from the San Siro Store as well as exclusive deals from club partners La Molisana, StarCasino Sport and Gattinoni. The members had a thrilling time at the Inter HQ where they were able to see the inner workings of the club as well as drink in a Trophy Room Tour, reliving some of the biggest moments in Inter’s history and catching a glimpse of some of the club’s most revered silverware. It was moment they’ll never forget and was topped off by Corporate CEO Alessandro Antonello handing out awards to a select number of Inter Clubs.
The match was also an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the Coordination Centre. Given that there are 130,000 members worldwide, split amongst more than 900 clubs and an ever-growing international fan base covering 77 countries, the centre is more than deserving of the messages of gratitude displayed on the advertising hoardings during the game.
A few minutes before kick-off two Inter Club members took to the pitch and received applause from the more than 60,000 fans present in the stands. Adriana De Leva, an important figure among Campania supporters clubs, was given an award by vice president Javier Zanetti, while Filippo Bianchi of Inter Club 1908 joined Inter’s official stadium announcer Mirko Mengozzi while he read out the starting line-ups.
The excitement-packed day came to its conclusion with a post-match meet and greet. 100 children had their dreams come true as they met Denzel Dumfries and Edin Dzeko, who scored Inter’s second goal of the day, and got photos with them which they will treasure forever.
