TURIN – The fortress that is Milan Skriniar seemed to be in the way of every Juventus foray forward and ensured the hosts’ attacks fizzled out at regular intervals during Inter's 1-0 victory at Allianz Stadium. Here’s what the Slovak had to say after the encounter.

“We knew how important this game was. I’m proud of the team. We fought until the last minute and these three points are absolutely crucial.

“We needed the win and we got it by working so hard. It’ll give us a big boost for our upcoming games. You can win matches that way as well and what matters now is getting points on the board, rather than how you play. We knew how key this game was, we got the win and it’s all to play for now.”
