Inter Campus update on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination

MILAN – We are all equals on the pitch, so why can’t it be like that in our daily lives? This is the question we are asking the children taking part in the Show Racism the Red Card project. We’re exploring how crucial sport can be in fighting discrimination.

And that does not only apply to the Inter Campus programmes around the world, like projects encouraging integration in Israel and Palestine, collaboration between different groups in African countries, dialogue between divided societies or inclusivity among men and women; it also applies to the role we have individually within our own community.

Anyone who goes out in the Nerazzurri colours or another team’s jersey has the ability to play a leading role in shaping the future. Within this vision, there is no place for discrimination: not today, not ever.

Inter Campus is working in collaboration with other Italian and international clubs, the European Union and European Football for Development Network to co-fund the #DiversityWins project.
