DigitalBits Goal of the Month | Alexis Sanchez's strike voted February's best

Six months and six different winners: this time around it was Alexis Sanchez’s spectacular right-footed effort against Roma in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia which fans deemed to be the best goal scored by Inter last month.  

February wasn’t the most fruitful of months for the Nerazzurri in front of goal, but the Chilean’s strike will long be remembered by Inter fans. Sanchez’s goal trumped Ivan Perisic’s volley in the derby, Edin Dzeko’s against Roma, three Inter Primavera goals scored by Cesare Casadei, Andi Hoti, and Oliver Jurgens, as well as strikes by Tatiana Bonetti and Ghoutia Karchouni for Inter Femminile.

As always, those participating in the selection of the DIGITALBITS GOAL OF THE MONTH stood a chance of claiming a prize by casting a vote. The lucky winner will attend Inter v Fiorentina this Saturday 19 March in the VIP section of San Siro.
