And the Liverpool v Inter Man of the Match is...

Inter's 2021/22 Champions League campaign came to an end at Anfield on Tuesday, despite coming away with a 1-0 victory through a lovely strike by Lautaro Martinez. Simone Inzaghi's men overcame a Liverpool side which hadn't lost at home since March 2021 when they fell to defeat to Chelsea. The Nerazzurri performed admirably and there were several contenders for the Man of the Match award.

Lautaro Martinez 21.8% | The Argentine's thunderbolt won the game for Inter and sent the Nerazzurri players and fans into raptures. It was Lautaro's first goal in the Champions League in 490 days.

Ivan Perisic 2.8%| Always ready to penetrate Liverpool's defence, his experience also counted for a lot when it came to defending.

Milan Skriniar 58.7% | The Slovak was given UEFA's official Man of the Match award; he was just unstoppable.

Arturo Vidal 16.7% | The Chilean's amazing block in the 92nd minute summed up an Inter side which never gave in, showing grit and determination until the very end.
