MILAN - Inter got back to winning ways with an impressive 5-0 win against Salernitana at San Siro. The result was never in doubt with the Nerazzurri showing desire, tenacity and fluid football to get the win. 

Lautaro Martinez's hat-trick created by Nicolo Barella and Edin Dzeko’s brace enhanced the festive atmosphere on an evening that started with celebrations for the 2021 additions to the Inter Hall of Fame.

The four nominees were::

Lautaro Martinez 60.9%: He hit the crossbar early on before finding the back of the net after a 425-minute drought. He then completed his second Serie A hat-trick and surpassed the 50-goal milestone in Serie A (now 51).

Edin Dzeko 3.2%: The Bosnian worked tirelessly throughout the game and scored a brace to put the game beyond any doubt. He also got the assist for El Toro’s third goal.

Robin Gosens 4.1%: His first Serie A appearance with the Nerazzurri jersey. He provided a wonderful assist for Dzeko and almost got a debut goal. 

Nicolo Barella 31.8%: He inspired and dominated the match. A complete performance from the Italian: two assists for Lautaro and he also played his part in every Nerazzurri goal.
