GENOA – You could sense the disappointment as Danilo D'Ambrosio spoke to DAZN after the 0-0 stalemate with Genoa.
One of the best performers on the night, the Nerazzurri No.33 was denied by the crossbar as Inter squandered a glut of chances but he refused to blame it on bad luck. “We've dropped two points today because we always set out to win regardless of results elsewhere," the Italian began.
“I hit the bar but I don't believe in bad luck. When you have so many chances, you have to put them away. It's not just a problem for the strikers; it's a team problem. We all need to be sharper in front of goal.
“We've been playing non-stop games for a month now and it's not going to change in the coming weeks. We're at a big club so we have to be used to dealing with it both mentally and physically.
“You need to graft for your victories. We must show we can graft because that's the only way to be successful.”
