UCL: Marciniak in charge for Inter v Liverpool

The Polish referee will oversee the first leg of our Champions League last-16 tie


MILAN – Polish referee Szymon Marciniak will be the man in the middle when Inter host Liverpool at the Stadio Meazza for the first leg of their 2021/22 UEFA Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday 16 February (21:00 CET kick-off).

The match official will be assisted by Paweł Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz, with Paweł Raczkowski acting as fourth official. Tomasz Kwiatkowski and Bartosz Frankowski will be on VAR duty.

The last time Marciniak took charge of a game involving Inter was the 5-0 win against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Europa League semi-finals on 17 August 2020.
