The defender discusses the stalemate away to Napoli

NAPLES – Federico Dimarco turned in a solid and focused performance in the 1-1 draw at the Stadio Maradona against Napoli. The defender spoke to Inter TV and DAZN after the match.

“We could’ve done better in the first half. We conceded an early goal and that’s not an easy way to do things, particularly at Napoli. We spoke about it at half time and went back out there with a different approach. We changed the pattern of the game and could’ve even won it.

“Fine margins come into these sorts of matches. We did well to stay in the game. We came here to win, but given the way it went, it was important not to lose. We’re pleased to some extent, with the knowledge that we have to work hard to achieve our targets.

“On a personal level, I always try to work as hard as I can. I’m happy with my display. Now I can think about Liverpool. We’ll try to take them on.”
