Our Man of the Match against Lazio was...

MILAN – There were four candidates but one strong favourite for our Inter v Lazio Man of the Match. Inter recorded their eighth win on the bounce in the league beating Lazio 2-1 at the San Siro in a game which saw Alessandro Bastoni play a leading role by getting the goal to make it 1-0 and then assisting Milan Skriniar for Inter’s second.

The player who received the most votes in our Twitter poll to be named our Man of the Match was… Alessandro Bastoni!

Milan Skriniar 6%| Scored the winner with a header worthy of a true centre forward.

Alessandro Bastoni 72.7% | Total class: a goal from almost 30 metres and a gorgeous assist to restore the lead. He was everywhere and did everything with great class.

Marcelo Brozovic 5.1% | Almost faultless, controlled the tempo, sat in at the end and held up the ball well.

Alexis Sanchez 16.2% | Full of energy with his runs, dribbling and passes. He put Lautaro Martinez through wonderfully for a disallowed goal. Lively and inspirational.
