The Speedy Hakimi: “We always show why we are Champions”

MILAN - An early birthday present: Achraf Hakimi wrapped up and handed a perfect assist over to Romelu Lukaku to finish the job against Roma at San Siro this evening. A classic burst forward from the full-back, at top-speed even in the 90th minute, to lay one on a plate for Big Rom, who will celebrate his birthday this Thursday. There was even time for a festive moment between these two friends in this close-knit squad, as they celebrated sat on the turf at San Siro, and Hakimi told Inter TV: “I am so happy with this victory and all the work we are doing, we have to continue in this same way. The Coach always says it: we have to love winning. Even if we have already won the Scudetto, we continue to do what we have done all season, so as always to show why we are Champions of Italy.” 

On Saturday, another challenge looms away at Juventus: “We have to recover and then think about the next match: it will be a tough but beautiful game to play, because it is one that all Inter fans want to win.”
