DIGITALBITS GOAL OF THE MONTH | Anja Sonstevold's strike wins the award!

"How about that from Anja Sonstevold! From so far out!" That's how the commentators reacted to the Norwegian's goal for Inter in their game against Hellas Verona, a strike which has been crowned the Digitalbits Goal of the Month for November. One touch with the right foot and the second to fire the ball into the top corner, Sonstevold's effort opened the scoring for Rita Guarino's side as they triumphed 5-0 over Hellas.

It's the first time this season an Inter Women player has won the Nerazzurri's Goal of the Month competition in the 2020/21 season. She follows in the footsteps of Federico Dimarco, whose free kick against Sampdoria won it for August and September, while Edin Dzeko's volley against Sheriff in the Champions League saw the Bosnian claim the prize for October.

The Digitalbits Goal of the Month is a collection of the ten best goals scored by the men and women's first teams as well as Primavera and the winner is decided on fan votes.
