The club has renewed its partnership with Gatorade, which spans the Italian champions’ participation in Serie A and the UEFA Champions League

MILAN – FC Internazionale Milano is pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with Gatorade. The brand, which is within the PepsiCo group and is the number one sports drink in the world, will be the club’s Official Sports Drink for the next two campaigns.

Gatorade will support the Italian champions in Serie A and in the UEFA Champions League, a competition which the brand has been partnered with since 2015. The connection between the brand and the UEFA Champions League, along with its role as technical partner for some of the biggest clubs in the world for many years, have allowed a long-lasting relationship with the football world to be formed. Gatorade’s commitment to the beautiful game also extends to women’s football, where PepsiCo is one of the main partners of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the biggest European club competition in the women’s game.

Thanks to its scientifically tested formula, Gatorade provides the human body with the essential elements to guarantee a more efficient replenishing of fluids and electrolytes that are lost while sweating, and it also helps maintain a high level of endurance in sport by refuelling the muscles that are under strain with the energy required.

The link between Gatorade and Inter within the men’s and women’s teams is taking a natural step forward on a journey on which the brand supports and underpins sporting excellence.

#“We’re very pleased to be continuing our collaborative partnership with Gatorade that has been in place for many years now,” stated FC Internazionale Milano Chief Marketing Officer Luca Danovaro. “The renewal of this agreement with a market leader in a sector that is intrinsically linked to the world of football such as Gatorade is testament to the global magnitude of the Inter brand.”

“Gatorade’s mission has always been to contribute to and help to improve every athlete’s performance level,” said PepsiCo Italy CEO Marcello Pincelli. “This is why being alongside Inter, one of the biggest football clubs in the world in terms of the men’s and women’s teams, as well as on the Champions League stage, is something that we’re thrilled about and it entails sharing our values of determination and a relentless desire to achieve more and more ambitious goals.”

As the club’s Official Sports Drink, Gatorade will get to be alongside the club throughout the day-to-day for the men’s and women’s teams, from the training ground to matches, supporting them by serving up a range of useful products.
