MILAN – Inter are to begin running services for fans with sensorial disabilities again. The initiative, which began in the 2019/20 season only to be halted by the pandemic, will resume from the game against Bologna on Saturday 18 September (18:00 CEST) to help blind and deaf supporters enjoy the match experience without any barriers.
Audio Descriptive Commentary will be provided for blind and partially sighted Nerazzurri fans at the stadium during Inter's Serie A Week 4 fixture with the aid of CAFE (Centre for Access to Football in Europe, a UEFA CSR partner) and the Blind Institute of Milan.
In addition, Simone Inzaghi's next pre-match press conference will see the return of the LIS Project with the Piedmont Segni di Integrazione cooperative, offering sign language for deaf fans.
These initiatives are part of the Corporate Social Responsability activities run by the club in Milan and the surrounding area, placing the emphasis on inclusion, one of Inter's founding values.
