UCL: Daniel Siebert to referee Inter v Real Madrid

The German official will be in charge of the Nerazzurri’s UEFA Champions League 2021/22 Group D opener


MILAN Daniel Siebert has been appointed to referee Inter v Real Madrid, as part of Matchday 1 of the UEFA Champions League 2021/22.

The clash with Los Blancos will take place at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Wednesday 15 September at 21:00 CEST.

Siebert will be joined by assistants Rafael Foltyn and Christian Gittelmann, while Daniel Schlager will be the fourth official. Marco Fritz and Harm Osmers will be on VAR duty.

Siebert previously refereed the Nerazzurri when they beat Ludogorets 2-1 in a UEFA Europa League Round of 32 second-leg match on 27 February 2020.
