Connecting cultures with Inter Campus

— Jul 30th 2021What does cultural heritage mean to you? We asked children from Inter Campus to draw it
A typical dish, a dance, festival outfits or a very high mountain. Through drawings and stories, the creativity of the Inter Campus children took us along a journey of discovery. In front of teachers and classmates, they presented their country from their own unique perspective through first-hand experiences and universal symbols, coming together online from Nicaragua, Mexico, Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay and Poland.
Some spoke of religion and spirituality, some told us the recipe for terere – a Paraguayan drink – and others thought that Inter Campus itself is an expression of local heritage. Because sport is as much a part of our culture as art or music – and Inter Campus is a Nerazzurri heritage created with friends we grow and learn with every day.
The educational project Reconnecting with your Culture is promoted by the EdA International Research Center under the auspices of UNESCO. It is a partner of the European Commission’s New European Bauhaus cultural programme and has gained the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As of today, over 1000 drawings have been created by children all over the world and published in our virtual exhibition.
