APPIANO GENTILE – Inter TV caught up with Eddie Salcedo to hear how he's finding pre-season at Inter after a two-loan spell at Hellas Verona.
What's your first impression of Simone Inzaghi? “It's been very good. We had a chat and I instantly had a good feeling.”
How much do you think you can improve by training with the other forwards here? “I can only learn from the likes of [Romelu] Lukaku, Lautaro [Martinez] and [Alexis] Sanchez. They're fantastic, experienced players and I'm sure they'll help me improve.”
You spent two years on loan at Hellas Verona. How important was that for your development? “Very important. I matured a lot and I feel I've grown up since two years ago. It was a really good experience.”
What do you think your best position would be in a 3-5-2 formation? “Up front, either as the front man or a second striker”
How different do you think you are to the player you were when you first joined Inter? “As I said, I've matured a lot as a person. I take everything seriously now.”
What's your personal goal for this season? “To give my all for this team and try to contribute to the cause.”
