Press conference to announce Lenovo as the new back-of-shirt sponsor for 2021/22

During the launch of Inter’s new Home jersey for 2021/22, it was also revealed that Lenovo would be the back-of-shirt sponsor, taking the partnership with the club which goes back to 2019 to a new level.

Inter president Steven Zhang appeared at the press conference held at Inter HQ to mark this important new step via a video message.

“I’d like to welcome Lenovo as our Global Technology Partner and our new back-of-shirt sponsor for our stunning new jerseys, which will bear the Scudetto crest for the first time in many years,” said Zhang. “It’s an honour to be announcing this upgrade of our partnership, which reflects how successful the collaboration has been since its launch two years ago. Technology and innovation are key values for us – values we believe are crucial to engaging with new generations. The continuation of this partnership represents a great opportunity for us to continue to work towards this goal. Like Inter, Lenovo has a track record of success and an ambitious vision for the future. We’re proud to have not just consolidated our partnership, but to have taken it to the next level.”

During the press conference, FC Internazionale Milano were represented by CEO Corporate Alessandro Antonello and Chief Marketing Officer Luca Danovaro, along with Head of Information Systems, Lorenzo Antognoli. President of the Intelligent Devices Group, Luca Rossi and Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Intelligent Devices Group, Emily Ketchen were in attendance on behalf of Lenovo, Inter’s Global Technology Partner.

“This upgrade to the partnership between Inter and Lenovo is a mark of the strength of the bond between the two brands,” said FC Internazionale Milano CEO Corporate Alessandro Antonello. “We have shared values like innovation and the pursuit of the highest standards, not to mention inclusion, diversity and sustainability, as we look to leave a positive social and environment impact for future generations. Our collaboration with Lenovo represents a crucial step in our process of evolution into a digital entertainment company, but Lenovo also plays a central role in our club through the technological support they provide us both on and off the pitch. Launched in 2019, this partnership meant Lenovo became the first brand to be featured on our training kit. It’s been a great journey so far – and now we’re both ready to take the partnership to the next level. We will wear the Lenovo logo on our stunning new playing jersey with pride!”

“From the very start, our technological partnership with FC Internazionale Milano has brought tangible improvement in terms of performance,” said Lenovo’s President of the Intelligent Devices Group, Luca Rossi. “More than a sponsorship agreement, ours is a meeting of minds – we share a winning mentality and a hunger for constant success both on and off the pitch. As part of our ambition to make the smartest technology accessible to all, we’re delighted to be bolstering our partnership as this will enable us to accelerate the digital transformation of Inter into a club of the future, for new generations and for fans all over the world.”
