A defeat for Skriniar's Slovakia, while Marcelo Brozovic also played

Three Nerazzurri players were involved in Friday’s European Championship matches with another Nerazzurri getting on the scoresheet at the continental competition.

This time it was Ivan Perisic who left his mark, with a wonderful goal: Having escaped down the left, he dribbled inside the box and let loose with a powerful right. The goal earned Croatia a 1-1 draw against the Czech Republic in the Group D match played at Hampden Park. It was the 29th goal scored by Perisic for his country, becoming one of just two European players to have taken part in at least one goal in each of the last five major international tournaments (World and European Championship), together with Cristiano Ronaldo.

In the draw in Glasgow, which brought the Czech Republic to four points and Croatia to one, Marcelo Brozovic also took to the field, playing 87 minutes, with Perisic playing the full match.

Defeat for Slovakia: After the win in their opening match thanks to Milan Skriniar's goal, Tarkovic's national team were defeated 1-0 by Sweden in St. Petersburg. A penalty in the 77th minute by Forsberg decided the match. Skriniar lasted the full 90 minutes on the pitch. Sweden now lead Group E with 4 points. Slovakia will return to action on Wednesday 23 June against Spain.
