InterNationals, three draws for the Nerazzurri playing in South America

Lautaro, Alexis and Vecino were all in action. Hakimi also played in Morocco’s friendly win


It was a night of World Cup Qualifiers in South America, with three Nerazzurri players engaged in the matches to try to get their country one step closer to Qatar 2022. Lautaro Martinez's Argentina were made to share the spoils in the final moments in Barranquilla: 2-0 up against Colombia with Romero's opening goal and another from Paredes, the Albiceleste were clawed back after goals from Muriel and Borja in injury time. The Nerazzurri striker played all 95 minutes.

Alexis Sanchez also played the entire match: Chile couldn’t do better than a draw in Santiago against Bolivia. Moreno responds to Pulgar's opening goal for a 1-1 final score.

There was one half of action for Matias Vecino, in action in Caracas for Venezuela vs. Uruguay. The final score was 0-0, with the Nerazzurro substituted at the end of the first half.

It wasn’t just qualifying matches: Achraf Hakimi was also in action, playing 90 minutes in the friendly match between Morocco and Ghana, played in Rabat. 1-0 was the final result thanks to a goal from El Yamiq.
