InterNationals, six Nerazzurri in action ahead of the Euros

The countdown to the start of the European Championship continues: the opening match will be played on Friday, when Italy will face Turkey in Rome. Six Nerazzurri players took to the pitch on Sunday in friendly fixtures ahead of the tournament.
Christian Eriksen’s Denmark played Bosnia in Brondby. The midfielder was involved for 59 minutes in a 2-0 victory for the Danes, with Braithwaite and Cornelius getting on the scoresheet. For Eriksen, the Euros will begin on 12 June against Finland.
Milan Skriniar’s Slovakia played out a 0-0 draw with Austria in Vienna, with the Nerazzurri defender remaining on the pitch for the full 90 minutes. Slovakia’s first fixture in the upcoming tournament will be against Poland on Monday 14 June.
Stefan de Vrij played the full match as the Netherlands ran out 3-0 winners against Georgia in Enschede (Depay, Weghorst and Gravenberch the goalscorers). The Dutch’s opening Euro 2020 fixture will be against Ukraine on Sunday.
Meanwhile, three Nerazzurri players featured in Brussels, where Lukaku’s Belgium beat Brozovic and Perisic’s Croatia 1-0 thanks to Big Rom’s 38th-minute goal – his 60th for his country. Lukaku and Brozovic played the full 90, while Perisic was substituted with 80 minutes on the clock.
