We're all still on a high after this extraordinary title, which was won with four games to spare. The joy felt on Sunday 2 May, with the Scudetto mathematically in the bag, the celebrations of the fans, the welcome at the ground ahead of Inter vs. Sampdoria, the five goals that reaffirmed our absolute primacy this season.

But the road to Inter's 19th Scudetto was not always an easy one. We have taken a look at the Nerazzurri's season, starting with the disappointment in Cologne. Since that night with such a bitter ending, Conte's team have picked themselves up in a year with no real chance to readjust following last season. Here are the ten key moments of this extraordinary achievement, all shown in the video below.

1. Sevilla vs. Inter, the end is the beginning It was a completely anomalous year with the long break due to the pandemic, the restart of the league and the long summer with the Final Eight of the Europa League being held entirely in Germany. A 3-2 defeat may have taken away Inter's chances of winning a European trophy, but the disappointment was harnessed to become the energy required to go again.

5. Inter vs. Napoli, the growth of the group A key game, which mirrors this team's journey quite well; a hard-fought win, which was fundamental for them to continue down this path.

6. Inter vs. Juventus, the show of strength That 2-0 victory at San Siro was the moment, in which Inter said yes to fighting in the league, for the Scudetto that was to come. A big win both in terms of points and performance.

7. Inter vs. Lazio and AC Milan vs. Inter, taking the lead AC Milan beaten by Spezia, Inter 3-1 winners against Lazio; love was in the air for Valentine's Day as Inter went top of the league for the first time. And they maintained their grip on top spot a week after with a 3-0 win in the Derby (Lautaro x2 and Lukaku). Inter on a high.

8. Inter vs. Atalanta, unstoppable Inter's run of consecutive wins began against Benevento and only came to a stop in April. In between that time, there was a fundamental 1-0 win over Atalanta, with the goal from Skriniar. Solidity and determination, and the run continued.

9. Inter vs. Cagliari and Inter vs. Verona, decisive Darmian Two 1-0 wins with two similar goals from Matteo Darmian. The Scudetto got that bit closer thanks to these six points in amongst some tough games. The party was beginning...

10. Crotone vs. Inter, CHAMPIONS! The win away at Crotone, with goals from Eriksen and Hakimi, opened the door to the Scudetto, which came a day after, on 2 May, with a draw between Sassuolo and Atalanta. Inter are Champions of Italy for the 19th time!
