Inter calendar: six matches in April

— Mar 27th 2021The Nerazzurri will be back at Bologna on 3 April and will face off against Sassuolo, Cagliari, Napoli, Spezia and Hellas Verona over the course of the month.
MILAN – After finishing February and March with seven consecutive wins and a total of 21 points out of a possible 21, Inter are preparing for April: six games in 23 days which will take us to the final stage of the 2020-21 league season.
It will be the match against Bologna which opens the month, the first game after the International break, scheduled for 3 April at 20:45 CEST at the Dall’Ara. Mihajlović’s side, with 34 points in the league, from nine wins, seven draws and twelve defeats, are coming off the back of two consecutive victories against Sampdoria and Crotone, having scored a total of six goals in these two games: the former Nerazzurri player Rodrigo Palacio will not be playing as he is suspended.
Scheduled for Wednesday 7 April at 18:45 CEST is the delayed game of the 28th league matchday (it was meant to be played on 20 March) against De Zerbi’s Sassuolo side, who with 39 points in 27 games, who will play against Roma at the Mapei Stadium before journeying to San Siro.
The turning point of the month coincides with the game on Sunday 11 April at 12:30 CEST, when the Nerazzurri will host Cagliari, who are fighting against relegation. Leonardo Semplici, who became the Sardinian side’s manager mid-season after replacing Di Francesco, has two victories, two defeats and one draw to his name in the five matches they have played so far, with the Rossoblu facing off against Hellas Verona on 3 April.
Seven days after, Conte’s side will be gracing the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona for Sunday 18 April’s match against Napoli at 20:45 CEST. Before the international break, Gattuso’s side had an unbeaten run of five games to their name, with three victories in their last three games against Bologna, AC Milan and Roma. Three days after the match against the Partenopei sees Inter’s second midweek match of the month, and their second consecutive away game after Napoli, this time against Spezia on Wednesday 21 April at 20:45 CEST.
The sixth and final match of the month will be at San Siro on Sunday 25 April at 15:00 CEST against Ivan Juric’s Hellas Verona side, before the last month of the 2020-21 league season with the match away at Crotone scheduled for Saturday 1 May at 18:00 CEST.
