MILAN – Inter vs. Lazio coincides with a special date: 14 February, Valentine’s Day, also happens to coincide with festivities surrounding the Lunar New Year, with Chinese New Year starting on 12 February.
The Nerazzurri have a fair few initiatives celebrating both events in the pipeline. Inter’s Chinese New Year celebrations continue after the launch of the CNY Capsule Collection; the Nerazzurri will play wearing a special Home shirt on Sunday, with the players’ names written in Chinese characters, a special patch on the left sleeve and a special print on the numbers with a stylised Ox.
The Social Wall will also take on a Chinese New Year theme, with video messages from kids of the various Inter Academies around the world. The pitchside LEDs and the big screen will also display plenty of creative pieces for the lunar New Year.
Our Valentine’s Day initiatives are dedicated to our Members, who had the chance to send a love note to a loved one and/or for Inter, which will appear on the third row of pitchside LED screens throughout the game. Members from all over the globe have already submitted their messages.
As always, there will also be space for Social Wall Together as a team, which is open to all fans, who can share their own selfies both before and during the match on Facebook, Instagram (with a public profile) and Twitter by using the hashtag #togetherasateam and tagging @Inter.
