In the second half it is Paul Ince, with a header, who makes it 2-0: a goal of power and desire, capped off with a true and special Interista celebration. All before the icing on the cake: Youri Djorkaeff's volleyed goal with his right foot from the edge of the area, a masterfully coordinated shot. He saluted the Nerazzurri fans and sealed a 3-0 win in Turin. The return leg at San Siro ended 1-1, and qualification to the next round was secured.
