Coppa Italia Femminile, Sorbi: "We put in a great performance"

MILAN - Inter beat Fiorentina 2-0 on Saturday, with goals from Eva Bartonova and Caroline Møller ensuring success for the Nerazzurri in the Coppa Italia quarter-final first leg.

Attilio Sorbi had this to say after the match: “We really put in a great performance today, both in the first and second half. The girls are fantastic, but honestly I think they have been playing well for a few games now. Unfortunately, this hasn’t meant results, but I am convinced we’ll enjoy great success through this level of performance and spirit. 

“I had was given a great response today, and this shows that a proper squad is forming. The girls are willing and I believe that this is one of the most important aspects. There are still plenty of matches to play and we will need everyone on board.”
