Inter Campus Cambodia ready to resume

— Jan 11th 2021Tomorrow, on 12 January, there will be a return to action following many months of standstill
It almost doesn't seem true, but, after a long pause where school classes and Inter Campus activities were interrupted, the action will resume tomorrow! In the village of Roong, which is located in the province of Takeo, everything came to a standstill in March 2020, when government authorities suspended school and sports activities to protect children, teachers, educators and families from COVID-19.
In order to celebrate our return, Missione Possibile Onlus, our local partner that, since 2011, has been working with us to support 175 children at the Association’s primary and secondary schools in the area, has planned a live Instagram event that can be viewed on Missione Possibile’s profile at 8:30 CET on 12 January.
“Despite activities coming to a halt, Missione Possibile Onlus has remained close to the children and their parents throughout all these months,” said Gerry Testori, the founder of the Association. “We’ve carried out distance learning in small study groups, put on reading sessions in our two libraries and ensured that the children can take part in creative activities. Furthermore, we’ve supported the poorest families by delivering packages containing basic necessities.” Throughout this period, the youngsters have continued to wear the black and blue shirt and dream about taking to the pitch again!
