The Argentine scored three during the Nerazzurri's 6-2 win over Crotone

MILAN - El Toro was unleashed on Sunday, as LautaroMartinez scored his first-ever hat-trick for Inter. Undoubtedly, the inspiration behind the Nerazzurri’s 6-2 win over Crotone, it was a ‘perfect’ hat-trick for the Argentine with goals scored with his left foot, right foot and head. After finishing the game ball-in-hand, Martinez gave his post-match verdict: “We came up against a very organised opponent. It was important to work hard when not in possession because they played the ball around well. We looked to press, close down space and we did well. Therefore, we’re really happy with the win.

“I ended my drought against Verona and I’ve scored three. I’m delighted because I work hard for the team, and when we win I'm happy. If the goals also come, even better. I want to dedicate this hat-trick to my family, my girlfriend Agustina and the baby girl that we’re expecting.

“The league table? The goal is to be out in front. This is what we’re working for, so we'll keep trying to improve until the campaign is over.”
