NAPOLI – After three months of inactivity, Inter are set to return to the pitch: at 21:00 CEST, Antonio Conte’s side will face Napoli in the return leg of the semi-final clash between the sides. The Nerazzurri will be looking to overturn a 0-1 first-leg deficit, with the objective being to reach the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday 17 June at the Stadio Olimpico. The first finalist is Juventus, who beat Milan over two legs in the other last-four showdown.
There are two new things to be aware of ahead of tonight’s fixture:
- should the match finish 1-0 to Inter after 90 minutes (and thus finish 1-1 on aggregate), extra time won’t be played: the game will go straight to a penalty shootout;
- the teams will be able to make five changes during the match, with a maximum of three interruptions to the game allowed for both sides (in addition to half-time). Where the two teams make a substitution at the same moment, this will be considered an interruption made by both sides.
