Lautaro Martinez and Gagliardini win the first GOTM awards

MILAN – Goals from Lautaro Martinez and Roberto Gagliardini have been recognised as the best Inter scored during the early part of the 2020/21 season. Indeed, the GOTM award for the months of September and October was picked up by the Argentine striker for his finish against Fiorentina. It was a precise and powerful shot from the Inter No.10, who got the Nerazzurri’s season up and running as he broke the deadlock in that game.

For the month of November, meanwhile, Inter fans voted for Gagliardini’s strike against Sassuolo: after controlling with his left, the Italian picked out the corner with a lovely right-footed effort, his second goal of the season.

To finish off the year, our supporters will be able to vote for their December GOTM. There are four goals in contention to win: Darmian’s first in an Inter shirt against Borussia Mönchengladbach; Hakimi’s precise left-footed finish against Bologna, his second of the game, following a quick burst forward; Barella’s volley against Cagliari; Lautaro’s goal to open the scoring in Inter’s final match of 2020 against Hellas Verona.
