Eriksen scores a brace, Lukaku with an assist, Italy victorious

MILAN – Every Nerazzurri player involved in the Nations League tonight tasted victory. Bastoni and Barella started in Italy’s 2-0 win over Poland and were key figures in the Azzurri’s success. A Jorginho penalty and a goal from Berardi took Italy to top of Group 1 in League A with nine points, one ahead of de Vrij’s Netherlands. The Inter men played the full 90 minutes, while D’Ambrosio was not involved.

Belgium are also top of their group (12 points) after a 2-0 win against England. Romelu Lukaku started and played the full 90 minutes, assisting Tielemans’ opener after ten minutes. Mertens doubled the Red Devils’ lead.

In the other game in Group 2, Denmark and Christian Eriksen, who started for Kasper Hjulmand’s side and scored a brace, beat Iceland 2-1 to go second behind Belgium.
