MILAN – Ivan Perisic took to the pitch on Saturday evening, playing 90 minutes for Croatia in League A Group 3 of the UEFA Nations League. At the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Kulusevski and Danielsson got on the scoresheet for Sweden, who ran out 2-1 winners. The Croats got back into the game in the 82nd minute in no small part thanks to Perisic’s contribution: a header from the Inter player deflected off Danielsson and ended in the net.
France are top of the group on 13 points after they beat Portugal to move three points ahead of their opponents (ten), while Croatia and Sweden both sit on three. Dalic’s team will return to action on Tuesday 17 November, when they’ll play Portugal at home.
