Perisic: "It's just the start, we can give anyone a game"

MILAN – Ivan Perisic also commented on Inter’s 2-2 draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach in the UEFA Champions League this evening: “We controlled the match until their equaliser from the penalty spot. It’s a shame we haven’t picked up the three points, but we have many new players. We’re working hard and a few mistakes can happen. We created many opportunities and the road ahead is still a long one: there are five group matches left. I’m convinced that we’ll manage to qualify.”

As regards his position on the pitch: “Like many others, I’m playing a new role. Time is required but I’m available for the team. I do video analysis to learn from my mistakes and give my all to help the team. Tonight’s point is an important one because we were behind with just a few minutes to go. There are other matches to play and I believe that we can give anyone a game.”
