MILAN – Dutch referee Björn Kuipers will take charge of Inter’s opening game of the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League against Borussia Mönchengladbach at 21:00 CEST on Wednesday at San Siro.

Kuipers will be assisted by Sander van Roekel and Erwin Zeinstra, while the fourth official will be Allard Lindhout. Danny Makkelie and Jan de Vries will be overseeing VAR.

Kuipers is set to referee his second Inter fixture: he was the man in the middle when Inter fell to a 2-1 defeat to Barcelona in the same competition last season.
