MILAN - There’s a word in English that sums up in one word what the Italian requires many to cover: KINDNESS.

“There’s something we can all do to fight bullying, which, unfortunately, is a fact of life for many kids, even in sport: show kindness to everyone. Friends, family, teammates. Kindness and a good heart are contagious; this is the weapon we need to fight bullying.” Ashley Young appealed straight to the hearts of kids with this message, which he sent for YouTube Kids’ “It’s cool to be kind” initiative, which is part of October as “Bullying Prevention Month”.

Young’s message, as will those of many there sportsmen and influencers from all over the world, will be shown on the YouTube Kids USA channel and the YouTube Kids app in English. It will serve as part of a series of video-messages aimed at kids to raise awareness of bullying. These positive messages will reach millions of kids in the under-13 age group via the platform dedicated to children.
