A further two Nerazzurri players out on the pitch for their respective National Teams

MILAN - A total of six Nerazzurri players took to the field on Sunday for the latest round of International fixtures. We’ll be taking a look at how Christian Eriksen and Nicolo Barella got on.

Eriksen gets a goal in a win for Denmark

In Iceland, Denmark successfully recorded an away win: in Group 2 of the Nations League, Christian Eriksen left his mark in a 3-0 away win in Reykjavik against Iceland. Eriksen (who played the full 90 minutes) scored just after the restart, slotting a neat left-footed finish past the keeper in a 1v1 situation. The Nerazzuri midfielder has now scored in two consecutive games for his country.

A draw in Poland for Italy with Barella starting

In Gdansk, Italy were unable to bring home the full three points: the game against Poland finished 0-0, although the Azzurri remain top of Group 1. Nicolò Barella started the game from the first minute, before being replaced in the 78th minute by Locatelli. D’Ambrosio and Sensi remained unused substitutes.
