APPIANO GENTILE - In 2019/20, Ivan Perisic had a remarkable season out on loan at Bayern Munich. But now he's back at Inter, and he's ready for action, something he made very clear in his interview with Inter TV.
"I had an incredible year with Bayern Munich: I won three trophies, and I was playing with a great team, even if things were difficult at the start. When the new Coach arrived, things started getting better until I broke my ankle in February. But in the end, we won it all: it was a positive year, overall."
"Now I've returned to Inter, and I'm happy to be back: I've got two years left on my contract, and I hope we can achieve great things together in the next two seasons."
Perisic all 90 minutes against Pisa: "It was the first time in three months that I played a full 90 minute: I'll need time to get used to it. We know how much the Coach likes to work. We're on the right path, and I've felt a lot of desire in the dressing room: everyone is ready and hungry to do well."
He then turned to expectations for the upcoming season, which will get underway at 20:45 CEST on Saturday with Inter vs. Fiorentina at San Siro: "I'm expecting that this will be a good year. Last year, I watched every game Inter played; I really was the Club's number one fan. It was tough to take how our season ended, but my teammates did brilliantly to get all the way to the final."
