MILAN – The partnership between Inter and Volvo Car Italia continues; during an event held at Volvo Studio Milano this evening, the two parties announces the renewal of the supply contract for the 2020/21 football season. Inter legend Julio Cesar also attended the event.
FC Internazionale Milano and Volvo Car Italia have a long and fruitful history of collaboration, which began in 2007 and has seen both brands reach important milestones. The success of the partnership between Inter and Volvo Car Italia has been strengthened by shared fundamental values, such as: reliability, respect for tradition, attention to innovation and modernity. This collaboration continues today on the basis of a mutual satisfaction with that which the two firms have built together and is contextualised by absolute modernity in light of sporting innovation, with which both parties look to the future.
“We’re delighted to announce the extension of the partnership between Inter and Volvo Car Italia. It’s a collaboration that began 13 years ago and which unites two global brands with the same values and same outlook for the future, including when it comes to innovation. Volvo Car Italia is part of the Nerazzurri family, and we hope to achieve new important objectives together,” said Alessandro Antonello, FC Internazionale Milano’s CEO.
Thanks to Volvo Car Credit services, the renewed agreement will see cars put at FC Internazionale’s disposal, in keeping with the Club’s sustainable and safe mobility needs. Among the vehicles provided will be the XC90 T8 Plug-in Hybrid, the flagship model of Volvo’s Recharge range which contains a rechargeable hybrid engine. It’s the first time that FC Internazionale Milano’s fleet will be equipped with this kind of technology and is testament to Inter and Volvo’s ever-increasing focus on environmental protection.
